If you're reading this, you are more than likely a bodyboarder, and as a result, you should be well accustomed to seeing the name Luke Shadbolt written next to some of the best bodyboarding photographs published over the past 10 years. But what you might not know, is that in 2016, Luke photographed a series of images which he collectively titled 'Maelstrom' which were met with awards and praise amongst the the art world, and paraded around the globe as a result. In Luke's words ' [Maelstrom] explores the interaction between humanity and nature in a physical, sociological and evolutionary context'. If that goes over your head, it doesn't matter, because they're amazing images that can be enjoyed on face value. If you are unable to get to any of his exhibitions (see below) you can gaze upon Maelstrom's beauty on his website or even buy a print to hang on your wall so you can 'explore the interaction between humanity and nature in a physical, sociological and evolutionary context' in your own time.
