The billionaires at YouTube have shut their site down for the last day, apparently so they can ‘concoct’ some ‘new potions’ or something. Sounds like baloney for ‘we effed up’ anyway that’s why there’s white blocks on our blog. Should be back up again soon or the guys at Google will have wasted their money.

The 4Play team have just returned from a two week stint in the South
Pacific region, scoring pumping waves for the entire trip. 4Play laid
down the green for the entire team Damian King, Andrew Lester, Dallas
Singer, Tyge Richardson, Ben Hansen and 4Play shaper/team manager Reon
Fisher.
Tyge said "it was a bullshit trip Reon brought over so many sick new
boards to ride, pumping waves and Todd Barnes (videographer) and Phil
Gallagher (photographer) documenting everything. It's sick to be
sponsored by a company that puts back into the sport and takes it's
riders on trips like this."
Kingy equally stoked said "I was just amping to surf with the young guys
like Ben and Tyge they were amped to surf all the time, even when it was
dry close outs on the coral reefs. Usually I'm travelling for a World
Tour event and sort of hang out solo trying to focus for the event, but
it was insane to spend two weeks just surfing and shooting everyday with
Toinz and the team."

16 year old Dane Pidgeon from Burleigh Heads has bagged the $1000 up for grabs in the 2006 Inverted Film Comp. His film about Goldy ripper Nick Ormerod, was voted number one unanimously by the three judges. With 36 entrants involved in competition, from as far a field as the Cook Islands, New Zealand and King Island off Tasmania the comp was a huge success. We met this kid from the South Coast over a few beers in the Cook Islands. He was actually allergic to chicken and lactose intolerant, but for some reason he ate butter chicken at this all-you-can-eat Indian night. He got real sick. It was actually kinda funny even though we did feel sad for him. As compensation for our sadistic pleasure above is a damn cool teaser him and his buddies made.
