Above is Ellis Cowan, just turned 16, got the flop fringe. Got a brain (dux of his primary school) and flew down from Nambucca Heads for a week in the office. He's been really good, navigating the strip clubs of Kings Cross for the mail, went on a run around town to find us some chewy. Kid even manned up the other day and asked Mike Stewart some questions at the Shark Island Press Conference. Haven't seen him in the water, but we're guessing he shreds.

Below is 19 year old Liz Phillips. She is a bit of a sort (definitely easier on the eye than Ellis), rides a booger (how rad are booger chicks) and actually has a brain too. She styled up some logos for some stickers that we've been planning on making for a few years now. Look out for some Liz-inspired-creations soon. We'd like to put out a thanks for their work over the last couple of weeks.

During THE HUMAN SHARK ISLAND CHALLENGE 2008, 3rd event of the 2008 IBA Mens World Tour of Bodyboarding, which will be held on the wave of Shark Island, Cronulla, New South Wales, Australia from July 1 to 20, you will be able to compete like a Pro Rider in the virtual contest of the event on youRiding.com.

The virtual contest will be held from July 11 to 20. Each round will last 24 Hours, with the best 2 waves out of 10 counted. SAFFA WES FISCHER WINS NO.6 BRETT YOUNG TRIALS AT CRONULLA

Fischer snags victory…South African bodyboarder Wes Fischer has won the Number 6 Brett Young Trials with a flawless display of riding in clean 3-4 feet waves at Cronulla point. He was humble in his victory speech but out in the water showed the other side of his personality with a tradesman like approach to the final.

“Thanks to God, my girlfriend and my sponsors” said Fischer. “Happy to win but the job is not finished yet, its just beginning”.

Second position went to Queenslands Mitch Rawlins with Newcastle’s Ben Gohl third and Jonathan Vega from Canary Islands fourth.
