The youth of portHolidays in the winter sun.
School holidays are spent chasing visiting girls around the local caravan park, pooling shrapnel for hot chips and begging your older siblings to buy you and your mates a sixer of beer for Friday night. Or they’re spent building your professional profile on a week long wave binge with a young Sydney photographer and three other promising young wave-slaying starlets.
In reality these kids would’ve been surfing anyway but with the promotional availability of the web and its constant hunger for images, words and small children these guys organised their own photo feature and fed it to us. The riders are Charlie Holt, Chase O’Leary, Eric Medcalf and Sam Bennett, while the photographer is Nick Bannehr.
